Description
Butter Chicken, or Murgh Makhani, is a popular Indian dish made with marinated chicken cooked in a creamy tomato sauce. It's mildly spiced, rich, and a perfect comfort food.
Ingredients
- 500g chicken
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- Spices: turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala
Steps
- Marinate chicken with spices and yogurt; set aside for 1 hour.
- Cook chicken in butter until tender.
- Prepare the sauce with tomato puree, cream, and spices.
- Add cooked chicken to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve with naan or rice.
